Day 01: Thurs 11th Sep – Depart Sydney to Tashkent

Day 02: Fri 12th Sep - Arrival in Tashkent. (D)

Upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Tashkent. Relax, go for a walk or have a swim before dinner
Day 03: Sat 13th Sep - Tashkent. (B,L,D)
Today you will have the full day to explore Tashkent with your escort guide Muhammad, visiting historical sites such as:
Old Tashkent with its Khasi Imam complex including barakhan madrasa, Mui Muborak Library with orginal Qoran of 8th C, and Chorsu bazaar. Afternoon visit Modern Tashkent subway, Independence square, Applied Arts museum, Abul kasim madrasa of 19 C.
In the evening you can enjoy Opera or Ballet in Alisher Navoi Theatre (if available). Included
Day 04: Sun 14th Sep Tashkent- Charvak (B,L,D)
You will start the morning with a day drive to Charvak Lake (80 km from Tashkent) in Tian Shan Mountains with a professional mountain guide (Vasiliy), hiking and picnic in the mountains, details can be discussed. Horse back riding. Overnight in tents with dinner.
Day 05: Mon 15th Sep Tashkent - Khiva (B,L,D)
Morning flight at 0800, transfer to Khiva upon arrival in Urgench. Full day city tour of Khiva. to Ichan Kala (old city): Ata –Darvaza (West gate, XVII – XVIII), Kalta Minar (XIX c.), Medreseh Mohammad Amin (XIX c.), Kunya Ark (XVII-IX c.), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum (XVIII-XIX c.), Medreseh Khodja Islam with minaret, Tash Hauli Palace which includes a view of the women's quarters (XIX c.), Caravanserai (XIX c.), Juma Mosque (XI-XII c.) with 200 wooden pillars. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 06: Tue 16th Sep Khiva (B,L,D)
Today you will have free full day in Khiva, you can visit private workshops of wood masters, carpet workshops, show of rope walkers, local music and dance . Cooking class in Zainab’s house. Details will be confirmed. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 07: Wed 17th Sep Khiva-Ayaz Kala (Yurts) (B,L,D)
Day drive to Ayaz Kala, accommodation in desert Yurts. Excursion to Ayaz Kala, Toprak Kala, Kizil Kala (Fortresses from Zoroastrian period). At Yurt camp you will have time to ride on camels, dinner around the fire at night with local music show. Overnight Yurts.
Day 08: Thu 18th Sep Ayaz Kala-Bukhara 450 km (B,L,D)
Drive to Bukhara (about 4hrs). Stop at Amu-Darya River bank to observe the panorama. Picnic in Uzbek Chaykhana (tea –house) in Kizilkum desert. Arrival in Bukhara.

Day 09: Fri 19th Sep Bukhara (B,L,D)
Full-day Sightseeing tour: Labi Khaus Complex: Nadir Divan Begi Medreseh, Kukaldash Medreseh, Khanaka Nadir Divan Begi (XVI-XVIII c.), Magoki Attari Mosque (XII-XVI c.), trade domes/markets (XVI c.), Poi–Kalon Complex: Minaret Kalon (Great Tower, XII c.), Mosque Kalon, Miri Arab Medreseh (XVI c.), Fortress-Ark ( I c.), Ismail Samani (IX c.) and Chashma- Ayub (XII-XVI c.) Mausoleums, Summer Residence of Last Bukhara Emir “Sitorai Mohi-Khossa (XX c.).
Day 10: Sat 20th Sep Bukhara (B,L,D)
Visit the "Gazella Nature Reserve". This nature reserve in a lush valley near Bukhara is named for the native gazelle of the region. Enjoy all the pleasures of Tuda-kul Lake (swimming, fishing, boating).
Day 11: Sun 21st Sep Bukhara Full day free in Bukhara (B,L,D)
Explore private workshops, masters, souvenir shops, local wine tasing.
Day 12: Mon 22nd Sep Navoi-Sarmish say Nurata (B,L,D)
Drive to Navoi (2hrs). Excursion to old Karmana town. Drive to Sarmish Gorge (1hrs) to see rock paintings; Bronze age petroglyphs (Bronze period). Drive to Nurata ( 1hrs). Picnic lunch. Transfer to the yurt camp on the bank of Aidarkul lake.
Dinner & Overnight in Yurt.
Day 13: Tue 23rd Sep Nurata-Samarkand (3 Hrs) (B,L,D)
Morning Lake tour: fishing, camel riding, swimming and boating. Afternoon Drive to Samarkand. Overnight hotel.
Day 14: Wed 24th Sep Samarkand (B,L,D)
Samarkand sightseeing tour: Ulugbek’s Observatory (XV c.), Afrasiab Ruins and Museum (VI-XIII c.), Registan Square: Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tilla Kori Medreseh (XV-XVII c.), Mausoleum of Guri Emir ( XV c.), Complex of Mausoleums Shakhi-Zinda (“living king”) and Bibi Khanum Mosque (XV c.), Medreseh Hodja Ahrar ( XV c.). Laser show in Samarkand in Registan Squire.
Day 15: Thu 25th Sep Samarkand-Shahrisabz-Samarkand (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Shahrisabz, the birthplace of Amir Temur where you can see the ruins of Ak Saray Palace, His son’s mausoleum , juma mosque, local market.
Afternoon drive back to Samarkand. Overnight Hotel
Day 16: Wed 26th Sep Samarkand-urgut-Samarkand
Today you can visit one of the big bazaars of Uzbekistan which is famous for its embroidery works and on return to Samarkand visit Konigil Silk Paper workshop.
Evening free. Overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 17: Thu 27th Sep Samarkand – Tashkent
Free morning in Samarkand. After lunch transfer to railway station to catch fast train to Tashkent at 1700, arrive at 1910. Transfer to hotel. Farewell dinner in local restaurant. Overnight.
Day 18: Wed 28th Sep Tashkent
Transfer to an International Airport of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Departure
